Our Concept
eye-bar optometrists, opticians & eyewear specialists is a lifestyle optical concept offering attainable eyewear and sunglasses in a fun, comfortable and stylish environment.
The founders of eye-bar, Dr. Amy Bakelaar and Dr. Ross McKenzie, set out to shake-up the optical industry with a fun, relaxed and stylish experience. eye-bar designed the store to feel more like your favourite hangout than a traditional optical store. Key store design elements include glossy red lacquer doors, chrome stools and impeccable service in a casual bar like setting.
More than just eyewear, eye-bar optometry offers eye exams, contact lenses, laser eye consultations and is available for eye emergencies from vision loss to red eyes.
eye-bar optometry believes in the gift of sight; everyone should see as clearly as possible. This means regular eye exams, the right lenses, a pair of sunglasses and a lot of love for your eyes!
